Sunday Salon: Reading, Read, To Read #45

Happy Sunday! I've got a few links to share today. First, have you seen the New York Times Best Illustrated Children's Books of 2010?  I've not read any of their top ten. Have you? Children Make Terrible Pets looks interesting though. Amazon has also announced its Best of 2010. Of note these lists, picture books, middle readers, teen. I also read Publishers Weekly's Bloggers Emulate Susan Beth Pfeffer's Life As We Knew It. As much as I love that book--it is love, love, love--I've never been tempted to emulate it.

I did spend some time redesigning Operation Actually Read Bible--changing the background color. I changed it back to one of its original colors. Of course, that blog has had many redesigns over the past two years. And Young Readers got a new header and a new background color! It's been a busy weekend. I spent my time redesigning blogs AND reviewing Christmas books.
